The name and ownership changed over the years. Even the neighborhood has changed from mostly families to college students. Despite the changes there are some things remain the same. The ice cream that put Ranison on the map continues to be made on-site with the same amount of flavors offered on a rotation. The old fashion counter, large icebox and some of the equipment are still used to make many of the sweet treats you will find every day. And of course, the staff offers the warm and friendly service that people have received for over 78 years. We invite you to visit us and get a taste of a La Crosse tradition.
